Christmas continues. Yesterday I baked peanut butter temptations and heath bar cookies. The heath bar recipe needs some tweaking- maybe margerine instead of butter. While I was baking, I watched the rest of White Christmas which is one of the definitive holiday movies for me. I've been promising pictures of the new lamppost and the faucet and then getting home too late to make the lamppost one. If it's dark, all you see is a really bright bluish light in the photo. So here they are!

I didn't get any quilting done yesterday and yet I feel very accomplished. All my gifts are wrapped, my cards written and my packages ready to mail Saturday. And the laundry is done if not folded. We need a lamp post. It has to be solar because it needs to be halfway between the houses (to light my way over to Mom's so I don't fall in the culvert and break my leg in the dark) and I would like it to be bright enough to scare away bears.
